Welcome to this page that provides some photos and commentary from IEI 2007. The year was another smashing success and we had 44 participants. IEI has tripled in size since its first year in 2004 and I am so thrilled with the level of playing and energy of the participants. Commentary coming soon!! One of the greatest aspect of the IEI is the premiere of new works and their exposure. We were lucky enough to have new works by Tim Jansa (Meditation and Madness for Tuba Euphonium Quartet to be published by Euphonium.com) as well as two new works for euphonium and piano by Jim Stephenson and richard Prior.. On the Gala Concert with the Band of the US Army Ground Forces Band presented an incredible concert. Here are Tony Bortone and Corvey Belvin performing a Duet.
